The Universities of Shady Grove (USG) Biomedical Sciences and Engineering Education Building is a state-of-the-art facility that shows strong performance in all areas of sustainable design and is registered with the certification goal of LEED Platinum. It is home to a Hydrotech Garden Roof® and Ultimate Assembly®, kept watertight by Monolithic Membrane 6125® to protect the wood deck of this resilient roof. The green roof area features InstaGreen® GT-4 Trays, which consolidates all growing media, drainage and pre grown vegetation in one convenient package for easy transport and installation by roofing professionals and landscape contractors. The end result looks great!
