Constructed almost entirely of mass timber, the new headquarters strives for Net-Zero Energy, LEED® Platinum certification, and WELL Building Standard with the help of other innovative features. The flagship HQ is protected with Hydrotech® Monolithic Membrane 6125® with minimum 40% recycled content that will keep the building watertight for the lifetime of the structure. There are multiple amenity decks that incorporate the Garden Roof® and Ultimate Assembly® above the waterproofing membrane, offering a single-source warranty. These roof decks are a place where employees, shoppers, and athletes can take in the views of the HQ, sports field, and Patapsco River. Also contributing to the buildings sustainability goals is the photovoltaic panels that cover the entire roof of the building, with a gravel ballasted protected membrane roof below that makes maintenance work easy while preventing any roof damage.
