The islands in Hawaii often see short, daily rain events, so it is important to use a waterproofing membrane with a proven track record that will last the life of the structure. For these reasons, ‘A’ali’I Ward Village used Hydrotech® Monolithic Membrane 6125® as its waterproofing membrane of choice. With the membrane adhered directly to the roof substrate, designers had the flexibility to create an amenity space that includes planters, pools, lounge areas, and more.
